California’s Spa City Dates
Some of most popular date varieties that are grown/produced in Desert Hot Springs are Medjool, Yellow Barhi, Deglet Noor and Dori. Our favorite dates here are the Deglet Noor, Dori and Barhi dates but the classic Medjools are without a doubt excellent, too.
Local dates are harvested annually (typically late August through October) and the Barhi’s tend to sell out the fastest so if you’ve got your eye on those lovely Yellow Barhi dates pictured in the image above, try to visit the farms around early-to-late Fall each year.
