“I heard good things about El Matador in DHS and had to give it a shot. I wasn't disappointed at all with the food or the service. I ordered chips and salsa which both of were delicious and fresh, Chile Rellano plate with rice and beans and nachos.”

“I really love this place. Everyone is very friendly and I prefer their salsa to some other places: they have the nice fresh cilantro dominant salsa that I really enjoy. While I've enjoyed many items from their menu over the years. Their Carnitas is good, enchilada suizas is my old go to, you really can't go wrong! My new craving is a chicken burrito with grilled chicken instead of the shredded! They had it as a special at the window one night and I've been hooked ever since! (You have to special order it with "grilled chicken" or "chicken from the tacos") I'm telling you, the grilled chicken here is FIRE!!!!! We have many great places for Mexican food in town all special in their own way, but here I think the Burritos and Tacos really stand out.”
